Build a structured interview kit with scoring guide
Give every interviewer the same questions and a shared idea of what a good answer sounds like.
Want it faster? Fill in a form and open the finished prompt in ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or another AI.
Tools: Claude, Google Sheets. Either works; use the one you already pay for.
Steps
- List the 4-5 skills the role needs, taken from the final job post.
- Run the prompt to get behavioral questions and what weak, okay, and strong answers look like.
- Assign each interviewer different skills so you don't ask the same thing four times.
- Put the scoring guide in a Google Sheet with one row per candidate and one column per skill.
- Have interviewers score independently before the debrief.

Interview kit
Role: [TITLE]
Skills to assess: [LIST 4-5]
For each skill, write 2 behavioral interview questions ('Tell me about a time...'), 2 follow-up probes, and a 1-4 scoring guide describing what a 1, 2, 3, and 4 answer sounds like. Avoid questions about age, family, health, religion, or anything else that's off-limits in interviews. Output as a table.Replace anything in [BRACKETS]. AI output can be wrong, so check facts, names, and numbers before you use it.
